Family Visits Location Date Purpose
Fort Atkinson, Iowa (United States) Reoccurring To Visit Relatives

Despite its quaint appearance, the northeastern city of Fort Atkinson, Iowa holds a very special place in my heart, and while I do not visit as frequently as I used to, I still try to enjoy every moment. The majority of my extended family reside in Fort Atkinson, therefore, I have made many early and profound childhood memories here.

Katlin and her Sister Enjoying the Iowa Snow
Fort Atkinson, Iowa (2018)

This picture truly demonstrates
how capricious and drastic Iowa weather can be, experiencing
blistering summers and frigid winters.
Often during the Iowa winters, we would
use the heaps of snow to build complex tunnels and forts.

Family Visits Location Date Purpose
Fort Worth, Texas (United States) June 2017 and July, 2020 To Visit My Brother

I am able to visit sunny, Fort Worth, Texas because my brother attends school at Texas Christian University. My trips have been shortlived though, simply due to unforeseen obstacles. However, in the year 2020, I was finally able to visit and see more of the campus, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, much of campus was unfortunately off limits. Although, from what I have seen, I have enjoyed greatly and I hope to visit again soon.

Picture with Horned Frog Statue on Bench
Fort Worth, TX (2020)

On the TCU campus, there is a statue of the
school's mascot, the horned frog, sitting on
a bench doing the school's
signature gesture. For this picture, I decided to join him on the bench and do it as well.

Running Path in Texas with Waterfall
Fort Worth, TX (2020)

One morning in Texas I decided to go for a
run and I stumbled upon a line of rocks
that traversed a small stream.
This allowed the water to run through each stone and cascade down a waterfall like
decline, boding for a stunning photo oppurtunity.
